News just pouring in that the actor Ranbir Kapoor will be seen playing himself in Bhootnath Returns. Previously, it was reported that the star will make a cameo in the film, but nothing was known about his character in the film. Now, Bhushan Kumar, co-producer of the film confirmed the news: “Yes, that’s true Ranbir will play itself.”.
Bhootnath Returns is the sequel of 2008 released Bhootnath. The film will feature Amitabh Bachchan, Boman Irani, Anurag Kashyap and Usha Jadhav in the lead roles. It has also been reported that Shah Rukh Khan will also reprise his cameo role in the first part of the next installment. The film is expected to hit screens in April 2014.
