RAWALPINDI (Online ) – Chief of Army Staff ( COAS ) , General Raheel Sharif visited Kotri Field Firing Ranges to witness and Battle Inoculation Exercise Body Karachi Monday.
These exercises are designed to train troops in various tactical operations in the vicinity of the battlefield . Combat aircraft of armored fighting vehicles Mechanized Division of Pakistan Air Force (PAF ) and also participated in live-fire exercises as part of the shooting field .
COAS praised the level of training of the participating troops and praised his skills , precision and accuracy in the share of goals and said the intense training and high level of preparation in time of peace are the only guarantors of peace. Perpetual pursuit of modern techniques , taking initiative to the enemy and mastery in combat procedures are essential for success in all types of either conventional or unconventional military operations.
Speaking on the occasion COAS stressed at all ranges continue to focus on training and combat readiness to respond to the full range of threats quickly and effectively . He reiterated the determination of the armed forces and said in no uncertain terms that with the support of the nation , we will fulfill our mission to defeat all threats to our homeland , according to the expectation of the people of Pakistan.
Earlier, on arrival at Kotri , the COAS was received by Lieutenant General Sajjad Ghani, Corps Commander Karachi.
