New Delhi: The BJP will ruin the essence of ” Bharatiyata ” and ” Hindustaniyat ” said Congress President Sonia Gandhi on Monday , urging people to ” choose the right path .”
In a video message posted on the website of the Congress , Mrs. Gandhi said that India was at a “crossroads ” in this election.
” What are these values that are the heart and soul of our country? They are love and respect , harmony and brotherhood. In short , non-violence ,” said Mrs. Gandhi in the message in Hindi I had a translated English text published together .
“Living with these feelings to each other through religions, castes , communities, regions , language is what makes us strong . Such have been the cornerstone of our progress. These are the essence of our Bharatiyata our Hindustaniyat , “she said.
” Today, our society is at a crossroads . Their vision (BJP ) , clouded by hatred and lies , ideology , divisive , autocratic , lead us to ruin our Bharatiyata our Hindustaniyat , ” she said.
Without naming Mrs. Gandhi took a dig at Bharatiya Janata Party ( BJP) candidate for prime minister Narendra Modi .
” Is this the heart and soul of India, we are fighting to protect in this election , of which we try to change it, and to divide . Want unity. Want to impose uniformity. They say , just believe in me ” he added.
