Islamabad: The time shooting off Shahid Afridi Bowling Ravichandran Ashwin climbed limits strings, all Pakistan delirious as fireworks and gunfire were burning in the air.
Aerial firing was reported from Quetta, Peshawar, Karachi and Rawalpindi even seconds after Pakistan won the match nail biting against its archrival India.
Fireworks lit the sky too that the country erupted in joy. People danced in the streets with Punjabi music played in the background.
As in most cities, there were fewer normal traffic on the roads today in Islamabad during the time the game was played.
Special sessions were organized in various restaurants in Islamabad where young people watching the game on giant screens.
