Mirpur : Stand- in captain Virat Kohli hailed the performance of his boys big heart while defending an objective 246 – poor race, but also admitted that they have made several mistakes in the past few games leading to the fall of team .
“We’re doing three or four errors in a game that becomes costly in the end. But people learn from our mistakes . Hope we do not repeat our mistakes .
” Despite being inexperienced , the team showed great character on the field and bowling. I am proud of my team ,” said Kohli as India suffered their second consecutive defeat to be on the verge of being eliminated from the Asian Cup .
Kohli also praised veteran leggie Amit Mishra for his efforts with the ball having hooked XI after a long period and also said that it is not a “shock” that his team did not play the final in all likelihood . ( Points Table )

Pakistan almost choked in their hunt before Shahid Afridi hit a ball – 18 34 not including two six two balls remove a thriller.
Pakistan needed 10 runs from five balls with a wicket in hand and Afridi smashed two sixes off Ashwin to complete the hunt.
” The plan was to take the risk and hope that a mistimes . But the credit goes to him ( Afridi ) . He cleared the boundary of two or three times and they won.

India now only have a mathematical chance of the final and Kohli said they are just keeping their fingers crossed.
“We’re just trying to win a bonus point. From March 4 , we know. We just try to improve every game.
