Probe of Tamil Nadu police in Indian Premier League match fixing progress
Chennai: The Tamil Nadu CB -CID police said today that the investigation covers all “relevant factors” including Indian Premier League match-fixing and Paris were in progress.
“We are investigating all angles . Whether wagering on IPL matches or match-fixing after the emergence of the new tracks are being considered all relevant factors and these are reflected in the indictment ,” said a senior official of the investigating agency to speak on condition of anonymity . “The investigation is progressing . Can not share details of the investigation to the press at this stage, ” he said, and refused to specify a time limit for filing a charge .
He, however , hastened to add that if the investigation could not be completed within the deadline for the filing of charges , the police approached the court of jurisdiction seeking more time.

Panel Mudgal in the IPL scam , which submitted its report to the Supreme Court , said: ” On the question of whether Mr. Gurunath Meiyappan was involved in match fixing and spot fixing , the issue has not been thoroughly investigated by the International Criminal Court – ACSU , BCCI ACU or the CB -CID Chennai police if certain information is available for such research is conducted . ”
The committee appointed by the Supreme Court ruled that India Cement , team owner of Chennai Super Kings had failed to ensure that his core team Gurunath Meiyappan compliance with the rules and regulations of the Board of Control for Cricket in India ( BCCI) IPL and to keep the game away corruption cricket.
