Unstoppable Shahid Afridi said he had license the fire vs Bangladesh

Mirpur : His blistering 25 -ball 59 helped Pakistan beat Bangladesh by three wickets and reach the final of the Asian Cup and Shahid Afridi today said he was still confident of marking tracks as necessary situation has given him permission to play shots.

“I tried my best to perform well. Misbah has great support and it is my type of situation and I got the license. Confident that I was 10 , a 10.5 course was then perhaps I took a chance , ” Afridi, who is the man of the match , said.

” I congratulate Bangladesh for the score to put in place . We must do better with the ball . “

Asked who was his batting coach , he said : “No , do Moin Bhai supports me , I did not need coaching , I need confidence and he always backs me , I knew that if I chore I’ll hit because he was one. . . very good location. ” ( Points Table )

Pakistan skipper Misbah -ul- Haq has also heaped praise on Afridi and said he is unstoppable when in good shape.

” He played really well and he ‘s cashing in his form which is really good for us . Everybody knows the type of player he is when it is booming and nobody can stop it. C ‘ is very encouraging , “said Misbah .

” We played well in the prosecution and that will give us great confidence in the coming years and games also . We played a lot of cricket here and when the ball starts to go , you can not stop.

Bangladesh skipper Mushfiqur Rahim said: “I thought after the last couple of games , we had a good start openers and we finished the stick too But when Afridi plays like that, it hit our best bowler, Shakib for three in six . course , there was very little we can do.

“We were hoping for a mis-hit , and unfortunately, I dropped one, but fortunately it was soon after. Impressed us some balls long at the wrong time but overall we played a lot better than the last games and we can take a lot of positives from this game, ” he said .
