
Lucknow: candidate for prime minister Narendra Modi BJP government started today at the Samajwadi Party in Uttar Pradesh accusing them of running a government “thugs and guns .”
“You can not hear the strains of qawwali in Lucknow more, . ? There is a bustle of politics What happened to Uttar Pradesh Only thugs and guns here and no music, Uttar Pradesh has become sewage , ” he said at a rally in Lucknow. ( Featured Narendra Modi ‘s speech )
He also made a strong attack on the Samajwadi Party chief Mulayam Singh Yadav by the lack of development in Uttar Pradesh. ” Netaji , did not care about development , is only interested in votebank politics. There have been 150 cases of riots in Uttar Pradesh in the last year , but none in Gujarat in the last ten years. How dare to compare us? “said Mr. Modi .
He also refuted the comments of the head of SP in the Gujarat riots . “There have been more than 20,000 cases of atrocities against women in 1 year in UP . Netaji and ask us to explain our actions? ” Said Mr. Modi .
At a rally in Allahabad , Mr. Yadav had closed the Gujarat chief minister, calling him a ” murderer of humanity ” . “After ( commit ) mass murder, the BJP is now looking for an apology. Could this be accepted ? Think you ‘re stupid ? ” Mr. Yadav had said.
From his anointing as prime ministerial candidate of the BJP , this was the eighth manifestation of Mr Modi in Uttar Pradesh. BJP general secretary and Uttar Pradesh by Amit Shah said Sunday’s rally , the first phase of the BJP campaign for the Lok Sabha elections would end .
The party had made elaborate arrangements to bring supporters to the BJP headquarters. 29 special trains , 4,500 buses, 25,000 cars – jeeps and 50,000 motorcycles were hired by the BJP for the purpose.
Uttar Pradesh is politically important state and all main parties have a special emphasis on the state Lok Sabha with elections scheduled for May .
With a share of 80 seats in Lok Sabha , Uttar Pradesh is considered a deciding factor on who forms the government at the Centre. The state has given the country a maximum of eight of the top 14 ministers
