Indian women beat Bangladesh by 8 wickets 2nd T20I to clinch series
Cox’s Bazar , Bangladesh : Indian women produced a clinical bowling performance to beat completely to their counterparts in Bangladesh for eight wickets in the second T20 international and have an unquestionable 2-0 in three-game series in Cox’s Bazar Tuesday.
Jhulan Goswami Medium Pacers ( 2/15) and leg -spinner Poonam Yadav ( 2/9) rocked the Bangladesh top and middle order as the home side could only muster 65 for nine in their 20 overs after electing bat in the newly built Sheikh Kamal International Cricket Stadium .
Shikha Pandey also contributed a scalp, but Bangladesh has not been helped by a malfunction , such as day trips accounted for four dismissals. Three batsmen for ducks , while only four players have managed to reach double figures .
Indians chased the target in just 12.3 overs ridiculous while losing two wickets .
Pandey ( 16) and Madhuri Mehta (23 ) established 45 for the first wicket . The pair fell in quick succession, but Goswami (18 no) and Harmanpreet Kaur (2 steps ) won the next visit to reach 66 for two with 45 balls to spare.
India won the first international T20 16 tracks , 9 March in the same place as the third and final will be played on Thursday T20 international series .
