Ghazi murder case: Musharraf spared from court appearance

The hearing of the case was adjourned until 15 March.
ISLAMABAD – A court of additional session exemption granted former President Pervez Musharraf to appear in court for murder of Abdul Rashid Ghazi . Call to permanent exemption and arguments on it will take place during the next hearing , Dunya News reported .
The hearing of the murder case of deputy speaker Lal Majid Ghazi and his mother was conducted by Additional Session Judge Islamabad .
Council plaintiff demanded the issuance of arrest warrants against the former president , while the defense attorney argued that Musharraf can not make an appearance due to security and medical reasons . He also said that the former president will appear before the once high court receives health and safety. The hearing of the case was adjourned until 15 March.
Former President Pervez Musharraf is facing a series of trials with high treason for the suspension of the constitution in favor of military emergency on 3 November 2007.
