
Pakistan Ambassador to the United States hopes that India will respond sincere gestures of Pakistan.
WASHINGTON (Web Desk) – Pakistan has reaffirmed the desire to resolve all outstanding disputes with India , including the key issues in Jammu and Kashmir , through a meaningful dialogue.
Speaking at the Carnegie Endowment for International Peace in Washington, Pakistan’s ambassador to the U.S. Jalil Abbas Jilani said that all outstanding disputes between India and Pakistan should be resolved through dialogue.
Ambassador Jilani also expressed satisfaction with the relations between Pakistan and the United States. He stressed the need to deal effectively with irritants such unilateral U.S. drone strikes .
Earlier , Ambassador Jilani met with Sen. Joe Manchin of West Virginia in Washington and discussed bilateral relations.
Matters of mutual interest, including peace and stability in Afghanistan, were also discussed .
Both sides agreed to work closely together for the harmonious and orderly withdrawal U.S. forces from Afghanistan .
Senator Manchin said Ambassador Jilani continued cooperation to Pakistan in meeting its energy challenges.
